Nintendo Switch: King Of Internet 2016

by on January 2, 2017

Nintendo Switch is the console everyone wants right now. But unfortunately, no one can until March 2017. The Switch, as we may all know is a handheld cum docked console, which allows you to play in front of your TV or when you are on the go. According to a research conducted by SimilarWeb, Nintendo Switch boasts past Xbox One and PS4 in terms of peoples’ search. SimilarWeb conducted a research on keyword searches and also found out that Nintendo’s Pokemon Go and Classic Mini NES series were also searched by lots of people.

SimilarWeb reported to Gamesbeat that: “The growth in Nintendo’s search traffic over 2016 is so big that when comparing its search traffic in November 2016 to January 2016, its multiplied its search traffic by [a factor of] 60.” That means the search for Nintendo has outrun PlayStation’s by 3 times.

Nintendo Switch in Brief

Nintendo Switch as we have already previewed is a new method of gaming for gamers. You can dock the tablet-form Switch near your TV and can enjoy the beautiful Legend of Zelda and you can continue the game on the go just by undocking it, and the game will shift display from your TV to the Switch. Connect the two controllers on the side and you’re good to go.

When you are outside with your Switch you can enjoy multiplayer with your friend by giving one part of the controller to him or play locally with two consoles. Also, the game uses cartridges instead of discs. The console is set to get released in March 2017.

View on Nintendo’s Future

My impressions on Nintendo’s future were a bit downside due to some reasons which I have posted earlier. But with Nintendo’s search going up means lots of people have shown interest in their products. And Nintendo is in no way downgrading it. They have been merchandising fashion items to fans including Mario-shaped electric toothbrushes and so on.

What do you think about Nintendo along with PS4 and Xbox One? Do you think Switch can handle these two? Fill it out in the comments below..
