Activate to gain 25 Armor, but reduce Gall's damage by 25%.

Surging Fist

Surging Fist
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Activate to begin charging Surging Fist. Activate again to dash forward, knocking aside enemies and dealing 46 (+4% per level) damage. The dash range increases by up to 250%, depending on how long it is charged.
Consuming Blaze
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Ignite nearby enemies, dealing 150 (+4% per level) damage over 5 seconds. Basic Attacking burning enemies re-Ignites them. Cho is healed for 40 (+4% per level) when an enemy is Ignited.
Rune Bomb
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Roll a bomb dealing 91 (+4% per level) damage to enemies in its path. Gall can use Runic Blast to detonate it to deal 221 (+4% per level) damage in an area.

Hammer of Twilight

Hammer of Twilight
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Activate to swing the Hammer of Twilight, dealing 150 (+4.5% per level) damage, pushing enemies away, and stuning them for 0.75 seconds. Passive:Cho's Basic Attacks deal 25% increased damage.
Upheaval
Cooldown: 60 seconds
After 1 second, pull enemies towards Cho'gall, slowing them by 25% for 3 seconds and dealing 175 (+4% per level) damage.

Cho build guide

Let me be completely honest with you. I wanted to make one guide for both Cho and Gall, but that tangled mess wasn’t so good. Therefore, here is just Cho build guide, and right after that, comes Gall as well, so stay tuned.

 

When it comes to exciting hero designs, Blizzard is absolutely amazing! In Heroes of the Storm, there are some which stand out in the world of gaming. Cho, for example, is one half of the hero Cho’gall, which requires two players to control him (“Pacific Rim”, anyone?).

Strengths

  • Amazing health pool
  • Doesn’t have mana
  • Great in 1-on-1 situations
  • Outstanding initiator
  • Permanent link to Gall, thus coordination is easier

Weaknesses

  • Easy to counter during drafts
  • Losing Cho means that Gall dies as well
  • Reduced body count, since there will be only four heroes on the map
  • Relies heavily on Heroic abilities in team fights

Since its unique gameplay mechanics, Cho’gall is a difficult hero to master. Therefore, here are some tips and tricks to help you on this matter.

  • The most important thing to remember when playing Cho is that you control both of the heroes’ movement. To improve coordination, I can recommend using voice communication. Whether that be Skype, TeamSpeak or built-in Voice Chat, it doesn’t matter. It is absolutely vital to coordinate with your partner, to achieve the best results.
  • Although Charging Fist is an excellent initiating tool, keep an eye out for enemies who can interrupt it. You don’t have mana, but still, wasted opportunity can cost you a lot.
  • Consuming Blaze is an excellent ability to follow up Surging Fist. Since it ignites all heroes around you and continues to burn as long as you basic attack the target, it can deal decent damage. Did I say that it also heals you? Well, it does, and it’s awesome.
  • Cho’s Rune Bomb is where you need coordination the most. It has slow travel time, so it is best used at close range. Still, Gall is the one who needs to detonate it, so be sure to tell your partner what you are going to do.
  • As I said, Cho is a fantastic initiator, and as such, is somewhat skilled in interrupting the opposing team. Twilight Hammer is excellent for this purpose; its low cooldown makes it very useful.
  • Since Consuming Blaze will heal you, why not taking things even further? When you are in the middle of the fight, and the opposing team is focusing you, Ogre Hide can be a lifesaver.

Fuel for the Flame
❢ Quest: Every Minion killed near Cho increases the amount healed by Consuming Blaze by 0.3%. ❢ Quest: Every Hero Takedown increases the amount healed by Consuming Blaze by 3%.
Calloused Hide
Ogre Hide also increases healing received by 15%.
Consuming Fire
Consuming Blaze heals for 150% more when a Hero is Ignited.

Uppercut
Surging Fist deals additional damage to Heroes equal to 7% of their max Health.
Rollback
Rune Bomb continues to travel after detonation, and will roll back to Cho, damaging enemies in its path.
Seared Flesh
Each consecutive Basic Attack to an enemy Hero deals 20% more damage, to a maximum of 60% damage. This bonus lasts 5 seconds or until a different enemy is attacked.
Uppercut
Surging Fist deals additional damage to Heroes equal to 7% of their max Health.

Power Surge
Each Hero hit by Surging Fist reduces its cooldown by 4 seconds.
Fire Eater
Basic Attacks against ignited Heroes decreases the cooldown of Consuming Blaze by 1 second. Passive: Reduce the cooldown of Consuming Blaze by 3 seconds.
Enraged Regeneration
While Gall's Ogre Rage is active, Cho's health regeneration is increased by 200%.
Power Surge
Each Hero hit by Surging Fist reduces its cooldown by 4 seconds.

Frenzied Fists
Gain 75% Attack Speed for 5 seconds after using Surging Fist.
Runic Feedback
Gall's Runic Blast reduces Cho's Rune Bomb cooldown by 1 seconds per enemy hit, and 2 seconds for each Hero hit.
Runed Gauntlet
Basic Attacks reduce the cooldown of Cho and Gall's Heroic Abilities by 0.75 seconds.

Surging Dash
While channeling Surging Fist, Cho is Unstoppable and heals for 150 (+4% per level) Health per second.
Twilight Veil
Active: Activate to increase the armor bonus of Ogre Hide by 300% for 2 seconds. If cast while Ogre Rage is active, it instantly swaps to Ogre Hide.
Molten Block
Active: Activate to enter Stasis and gain Invulnerability for 3 seconds, damaging nearby enemies for 92 (+4% per level) damage per second.
