The Mass Effect Trilogy now in The Vault
Mass Effect Trilogy is now available to download for free on your Xbox One if you are an EA Access member. The games go as part of the Backwards Compatibility program. The original Mass Effect was already backwards compatible and now the other two sequels have been added.
EA and BioWare is celebrating November 7th as the ‘N7’ day. The name is familiar to all Mass Effect players as Shepard earned the N7 special-forces designation before starring in the first game. The game is not yet listed on the EA Access Hub right now, but you can install it from the Store. Check out the full list of EA Access games in the Vault now.
If you own the Xbox 360 copies of these games, you can avail it by going into Ready to Install section on My Games & Apps on your console or if you have a physical copy, then you should download an update for each game in order to play. Backwards compatible also mean you can play the multiplayer portion of the game, which requires a Gold subscription. The BC program is evolving with more than 240 games including Red Dead Redemption and more.

Mass Effect is a science-fiction third-person shooter developed by BioWare Games and published by Electronic Arts for the Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 consoles. You play as Commander Shepard to save the galaxy from other powerful races. The game was highly acclaimed with a score of 90% average for the three games on Metacritic.
Mass Effect’s fourth game named Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to get released sometime in 2017 for Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. With Microsoft adding the last two part to BC program (making the full trilogy available) and to the Vault means we might be nearing the release date for Andromeda. According to IGN, Mass Effect: Andromeda may get released on March 21, 2017. But its just an assumption as no news on the date has been yet revealed officially. You can read IGN’s full post here.
