Smite Sun Wukong Build
If you play Smite, then you know that you have to build your gods dankly. You need to work hard and read all the guides out there to make good builds. The thing is, most of the guides for building Sun Wukong are thick and hard to read. We’ve summarized the best ones for you to make it simple, with the items in list form. We’ll show you a basic Sun Wukong Build, a tank build, and a unique build to challenge you.
Like every god, Sun Wukong has strengths and weaknesses. You need to understand these so you will know how the items in this build highlight his strengths and compensate for his weaknesses.
Takes a long time to get going, because Sun Wukong has low mana when the game starts
Only the Ultimate can heal him. This slows him down.
You have got to practice a lot to make the 72 Transformations worth it.
Sun Wukong is hard to kill in battle. He is slow to warm up, but can escape a lot.
With the Undefeated Body, he can do a lot of damage even when in the tank role. It’s easy to see why that is useful in the game.
Sun Wukong is an asset to a team with his clearing ability
You’ve got to update your build each time, and quickly! This is because it’s so important to adapt to the god that you are playing against. You can’t just play the same build all the time. We’ve gathered lists for three popular builds for Sun Wukong. Have you got a better idea? Tell us in the comments!
Season 5 HHL Gameplay
Sun Wukong Tank Build
Get your hands on a powerful build with this one. Good for defense and has waveclear abilities, but it’s a little weird because you’ll sometimes just disappear from the battlefield with 72 Transformations. In case it’s important to you, the voice of this god is the same actor who played Goku. Just sayin’.
The last two items are for defensive strategies. This tanky build will really help out in team play but isn’t so great on its own.
Sun Wukong Partner Build
Some call this the high sustain Sun Wukong build. It’s a relatively easy to make and maintain build with easy the get items. Or so it should be, for anyone who plays this game regularly. You can keep going with high damage, though the whole fight. You can also find this build to be very effective against melee gods. It’s fun to play, but it is also good for duo play. Problems are small, but it’s hard to work against ranged enemies. In addition, you might rely too much on stuns.
Death’s Toll, Warrior Tabi, Devourer’s Gauntlet, Qin’s Sais, Jotunn’s Wrath, and Deathbringer
This is a lifeseal as the last item, which also provides power. Play around with this build and let us know if you think it has any troubles. It’s important to note that you will probably lose if you aren’t healing back all the damage you take by the end of the game. This will surely annoy friends who follow you, but it’s sweet to control.
Sun Wukong Bruiser Build
This one is just how it sounds. This build is for the player that wants to get out there and just cause some damage.
Warrior Tabi, Hide of the Urchin, Jotunn’s Wrath, Winged Blade, Breastplate of Valor, Shifter’s Shield
It’s really just a more attack oriented Wukong. We added the Winged Blade for more attack speed and movement. The BreastPlate of Valor for some mana recovery. And the Shifter’s Shield for some killer gains in power and protection.
